Sample Ultimate South Africa & Mozambique Safari Itinerary at a Glance

DAY 1 – Cape Grace/Cape Town – Bed and Breakfast – Today on arrival into Cape Town airport, you will be met and transferred by road to the Cape Grace hotel.

DAY 2 – Cape Grace/Cape Town – Bed and Breakfast – Private Full-Day City, Table Mountain and Robben Island Tour.

DAY 3 – Cape Grace/Cape Town – Bed and Breakfast – Private Full-Day Tour of the Cape Peninsula.

DAY 4 – Cape Grace/Cape Town – Bed and Breakfast – Private Half-Day City and Table Mountain Tour (Including Lunch).

DAY 5 – Leeu House/Franschhoek – Bed and Breakfast – Your guide will collect you from the Cape Grace and take you to Leeu Estates in Franschhoek. After checking in you will be taken on a private full-day tour of the Winelands.

DAY 6 – Leeu House/Franschhoek – Bed and Breakfast – Today will be a free day to explore the village of Franschhoek, a short walk from Leeu Estates and have a nice lunch and relax. See activities available below.

DAY 7 – MalaMala Camp/MalaMala Game Reserve – Fully Inclusive – Fly to MalaMala Game Reserve and check-in at MalaMala Camp for a 4 night stay.

DAY 8 – MalaMala Camp/MalaMala Game Reserve – Fully Inclusive – Over the next 3 days you will have the option of 2 daily activities including twice-daily game drives, bush walks and photographic safaris. No two outings are ever the same.

DAY 9 – MalaMala Camp/MalaMala Game Reserve – Fully Inclusive – On offer: Game drives, bush walks, photographic safaris, bush brunches, afternoon tea, sundowners, campfire stories, swim and relax in your accommodations.

DAY 11 – Santorini Mozambique/Vilanculos – Fully Inclusive – Fly from Kruger Mpumulanga airport to Vilanculos, Mozambique. On arrival you will be met by a representative from Santorini and driven to the lodge where you will spend the next 3 days basking in the sun on the beautiful beaches of Kingfisher Bay.

DAY 12 – Santorini Mozambique/Vilanculos – Fully Inclusive – Your choice of water or land activities including diving, snorkeling, kayaking, kiteboarding, land-based fishing, deep-sea fishing, dhow safaris charter yachts and scenic helicopter flights, or private beach picnics, horse riding, local markets, local bars, and cultural excursions.

DAY 13 – Santorini Mozambique/Vilanculos – Fully Inclusive – Your choice of water or land activities including diving, snorkeling, kayaking, kiteboarding, land-based fishing, deep-sea fishing, dhow safaris charter yachts and scenic helicopter flights, or private beach picnics, horse riding, local markets, local bars, and cultural excursions.

DAY 14 – Santorini Mozambique/Vilanculos – Breakfast – After breakfast you will be driven to Vilanculos airport in time to connect with your flight to OR Tambo in Johannesburg.
